Carlos Reyes is a tax advisor in general tax matters for individuals and legal entities, including residents and non-residents. He specializes in the planning and taxation of restructuring operations, as well as international taxation.
Currently, his professional practice focuses on serving Mexican, Latin American, and U.S. clients residing in Spain, advising them on personal and/or business matters such as share purchase and sale transactions, international double taxation issues, the application of the special tax regime for inbound workers (Beckham Law), digital nomads, and more.
For eight years, he worked as a tax attorney in the litigation and tax advisory departments of PwC Mexico and Deloitte Mexico. During his time at these Big Four firms, he participated in various litigation and financial planning matters, advising multinational groups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and individuals.
His knowledge of legal systems and the key social and cultural ties between both countries enables him to deeply understand his clients’ needs—not only in tax matters but also in related areas such as commercial, real estate, and immigration law.
